NOTICE TO RESIDENTS WITH PORTABLE BASKETBALL NETS CURBSIDE, THESE ARE PROHIBITED IN THE RIGHT OF WAY. THE BOROUGH IS ASKING ALL RESIDENTS WITH THESE DEVICES TO PLEASE REMOVE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THESE DEVICES WHEN PLACED IN THE RIGHT OF WAY IMPEDE THE SNOW REMOVAL EFFORTS OF OUR PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT. NOTICE The Borough of Hatboro Public Works Department will no longer remove trash cans larger than 50 pounds. Please click here for more information. Thank you for your cooperation CITIZENS POLICE ACADEMY "The Hatboro Police Department and Horsham Police Department will be sponsoring a session of the popular Citizens Police Academy beginning on March 14th, 2012 with graduation scheduled for May 16th, 2012. The classes run on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM at the Horsham Community Center. The 10-week program is free to citizens of Hatboro, Horsham and the surrounding communities. Applications are available at the Hatboro Police Department, Horsham Police Department or on-line at www.horsham.org (under police department). Any questions can be directed to Hatboro Police Sgt. Peter VanDolsen at 215-675-2832 or Horsham Police Lt. Jon Clark at 215-643-8284." VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE (VITA) is available.
Starting January 26th there will be Free Tax Preparation services for taxpayers making up to $50,000 a year. Hours are limited and By appointment only, please call 215-346-2517 for more information.
