PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT 215-675-1454 SNOW REMOVAL All Borough and State roads are salted and plowed by the Borough. It would be a great help if all vehicles were parked in driveways. Not only would the roads be plowed wider, but there would also be less snow to shovel in the driveway. When shoveling your driveway, if you pile the snow at the end of the driveway to the street on the right of the driveway (as you are facing the street), the snow will be pushed away from the driveway entrance when the road is plowed.
Sidewalks - By ordinance, all sidewalks must be cleared within twenty-four (24) hours after the snow stops falling. This applies to all property owners or lessors. No snow shall be pushed into the street. Vehicles - Only vehicles with chains, snow tires or all-purpose tires will be permitted to move through streets that are covered with 3 or more inches of snow. Any vehicle which has stalled, is incapable of moving under its own power and/or is left unattended upon any street or road located within the borough, may be removed or towed away at the owner's expense. Snow Emergency - If a Snow Emergency is called in Hatboro, no vehicles are permitted to remain parked on the following streets: - York Road
- Jacksonville Road
- County Line Road
- South Penn Street
- Warminster Road
